User Conduct and Content Guidelines
Effective date: 2026-10-20
These User Conduct and Content Guidelines ("Guidelines") explain what you may and may not create with ModifAI. They form part of our Terms and Conditions. By using ModifAI, you agree to follow them.
1. How content moderation works on ModifAI
ModifAI gives you access to AI models built by third-party providers. Each provider applies its own content rules, in addition to these Guidelines. A request may therefore be accepted by one model and declined by another. Whatever the model, the rules in section 2 always apply.
When a request is declined, the credits used for it are returned to your Wallet.
2. Content that is never allowed
Whatever the model you use, you may not use ModifAI to create, upload, edit or share content that:
- depicts minors, real or synthetic, in a sexual, suggestive or otherwise exploitative way;
- sexualizes or undresses a real, identifiable person, or creates intimate imagery of anyone without their consent, including "nudify" edits of uploaded photos;
- uses the face, body or voice of a real person without their permission, or impersonates a person, a brand or a public figure to deceive others;
- promotes or incites violence, terrorism, hatred or harassment against individuals or groups;
- depicts graphic violence or gore intended to shock, or promotes suicide, self-harm or eating disorders;
- provides instructions or assistance for weapons, illegal drugs or other dangerous activities;
- is designed to defraud or mislead, such as fake documents or deceptive deepfakes;
- infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- breaks any applicable law.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the prompts and files you submit, for the content you create with ModifAI, and for how you use, publish or share it, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Content is generated automatically at your request; ModifAI does not review it before it is delivered to you and does not endorse it.
4. Images of real people
Only upload photos of real people if you have their consent to edit or transform their image.
5. Do not work around our safeguards
You may not try to bypass content moderation, whether by repeatedly rephrasing a declined request, using coded or misleading prompts, automating requests, or using several accounts.
6. What happens when a request is declined
- You see a message explaining that the request could not be processed. The credits are returned to your Wallet.
- If many of your requests are declined within a short period, generation may be temporarily paused on your account. Repeated pauses may last longer. Your projects, creations and billing remain accessible during a pause.
- Serious violations, in particular any content involving minors or intimate imagery of a real person without consent, may lead to the immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund, and may be reported to the competent authorities.
7. Report content or request its removal
If you believe content created with ModifAI depicts you without your consent, or breaks these Guidelines, contact us at contact@modif.ai with enough information to identify it. We review reports promptly and remove intimate imagery reported as non-consensual.
8. Think we made a mistake?
Moderation systems are not perfect. If you believe a request was declined or your account paused by mistake, contact us at contact@modif.ai and we will review it.
9. Changes to these Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines as models, providers and laws evolve. The "Effective date" above shows the latest version.
